Activities

Put your feet up and relax in our tranquil garden set on approximately 3 acres, including lawn areas, fruit trees, and a vast assortment of native and exotic plants and trees. There is a variety of things for you to do while staying with us. Or you can choose to do nothing at all - sit on the verandahs and read a book, laze around, and take it easy. There is an outdoor dining area and barbeque facilities for guests.

During your stay, come on down to the cowshed and see the cow being milked. You could help to feed the calves if this takes your fancy, or feed the chooks and help collect the eggs.

You could try your hand at a game of bush croquet on the east terrace or bocce in the garden. Both these games combine good fun with gentle exercise.

We have a milking cow and calves, chickens, and a productive vegetable garden. Life is very laid back here, and we encourage you to be, too.

You can choose to have private meals on the wide verandahs, enjoying the beautiful views to Mt Warning. Every evening, we dine at our large dining table, which can easily seat ten people. Tea and coffee (with fresh Jersey milk) are available at all times.
If you enjoy a drink, please remember to bring your own alcohol.

Local Attractions

Murwillumbah offers a choice of fine restaurants and pubs. Coolangatta is only a 50 minute drive to the north, the Gold Coast, with its many atttractions, is about 75km north and Brisbane is a 90 minute drive.
Every weekend there are colourful local
Markets within an easy drive from our home.

Mt Warning is a 20 minute drive from here, and the climb is well worth while. We are close to many National Parks - the Mebbin State Forest and The Natural Arch. Take a drive through the Border Ranges.

We are a 40 minute drive from the beautiful and uncrowded beaches of Fingal and Kingscliff. These include some leash-free dog exercising area. We recommend a lunch stop at the Chinderah fish and chip shop and enjoy your meal in the park, overlooking the mouth of the Tweed River.
